I know you are all desperate for news about the exciting current learning in Sooty.

Well... 

We have been working through including time order words in our work such as

      First... Next... Then... Yesterday... Finally...

We have been getting good at doing that. 

This week, we have been reminding ourselves about a special family of words called:

                                  VERBS

These words are great to use in writing because they make writing more exciting to read when it uses more specific language. 

Verbs are doing words.

We made a great list - here are some of the ones we thought of.
