The Glyptodon

The Glyptodon is an extinct animal that is apart of the anmiodillo family (calmyphoride).

Descrption

Light brown shell with a dark brown body, the Glyptodon was about 2.5-3.3 metres long.  It was a huge creature.  It weighed approximately 500kgs.

Habitat

They were normally found in South America and Brazil on grassy plains.

Diet

They were herbivorous; eating lots of different types of plants including flax and other tough plants.

Extinction

They died out approximately 16,000 years ago.  Hunters used them for their shell and for food.  In addition it is believed that an ice age contributed to their demise.

In conclusion they should still be alive.

You look scary but I can tell you’re not because you protect people from the other monster. Who is that other monster? Is it the cyclops?
I think it might be Cerberus because he is like a three headed guard dog.

Some people think you are bad but you have the heart of a good person.  How can we help you with getting out of the labyrinth. We hope you get out soon enough if you have the strength. Ask the thing that is beside you to use his strength to get out and save every one.

George's Speech

I think  that rugby is the best sport.


 I play for waihora rugby club, it's the best club around here and that's why I love rugby.  It's such a great sport, you can make good friends, you get super fit, sometimes you even get trophies!  How cool is that?

Waihora club is great because all my friends play in my team, these are new people different from my school mates.  This means that I'm getting a wider friendship base, which is great. Its fun because you can smash people, get really muddy. Who doesn't love getting muddy.  I love giving speeches at the end of the games well.

Secondly,  you get fit because you are sprinting around for a hour and we play every Saturday.  We practise once a week for an hour, this is why rugby gets you fit. The field is 100 meters long, which is a long way to run.  If you this twice a week for a couple of hours then you're going to be super fit.

I love getting trophies.  I've got five this year.  You get them good tackling, running and being player of the day.  Man it feels awesome to get a trophy.  When you play rugby you get trophies.

So come on people please  everyone should play rugby, you'll get fit, make friends and ...wait for it, get a trophy.  Trust me you'll love it.

a rock came  from a voknoe. 100 yere a go the cale is charcoal black. it fese smooth and dalkte line as bate as a late they fdae it on the beack.





A rock came from a volcano, a hundred years ago, the colour is charcoal black. It feels smooth and delicate. Lines as bright as a light. They found it on the beach.
