The Perfect Passenger Pigeon

The passenger pigeon is an extinct bird that is part of the wild pigeon family. The technical name for the passenger pigeon is the wild pigeon.

Description

The passenger pigeon was mostly grey with a bit of black, orange and pink.  There were black spots on their wings.  They had very sharp pointy claws.  It was 41cm long.  They did not have any ears at all.

Habitat

The passenger pigeon was endemic to North America.  They lived in very very large groups called lofts.  They preferred forests where large numbers of birds could roost together.

Diet

What they ate depended on the season.  In winter they ate beechnuts, acorns, chestnuts, seeds, berries that they found in the forests.

Extinction

They were hunted for food by the native Americans and Europeans.  The passenger pigeon was around in the 1800’s; the last one died in 1914. 

In conclusion, I think that they were so gorgeous and that it was so so mean that they killed them because they probably wanted their feathers and birds need their feathers.

Today I went swimming and I jumped in. At writing I wrote about Rapaki beach and what we did there.

My Wiggly Tooth

On Monday I was waiting for my turn to go up on the stage for the play. But when I was waiting me and Tamera was wigling our teeth . I was wigling my tooth for a long time and I did it really hard.  I looked in the mirer and wigled it again. When I went back and wigled it even more. Then I bent my tooth and said to Amy that it is about to come out. So I stoped wigling It.

The argument about wool

Dear farmer brown I wod apresheate it if you will stop shaving me nackid.Because baa other wise We get cold in the night and we want to be like you nice and warm in your bed so can you stop shaving our nice warm soft wool. But yes I know you want it but you can't have it because thats what makes us warm and snugly guring the night like you its like our blanket icsept we don't have a bed and a houes like real people have but we are sheep we have hay and a barn to keep but our wool is the most  the inporntint thing that we get to keep warm baaa so stop shaving us nakid now baaa its like if some one stole your favrit blanket .sensely the sheep.

Today in TLC we  had a Teddy bears I brot my Teddy bear Sedey. Mum made Some food to Shere for Evryone we had a montrouus piknic I had Some crackers a biscit and other stuff we put our Teddy bears on the parshoot .

Millie's Birthday Party

In the weekend I went to a party it was Milly's party. We went to a horse riding club.  I was eagerly waiting to ride a pony.  I rode a horse all by myself.  The horse that I was riding was called Cory. We walked to the place where we were going to play games.  We had cold strawberry and blueberry yoghurt with teeth lollies in the yoghurt. I saw Nick and his friends.

in the holidays i went  to   the  bech   with  mum  and  dad  and sister when we  got theie  all  off  my  cusns  were coming  then  thae  were  all  here  when  thae  were  all  here  i  went  out  to  the  big  wavs  and  i  slipd  and  i  faie  into  the  wavs  when i  got  up  i  fait  sik  and  i  cride  and  i  went  to  mum  and  when  after  a  wyill  i  fallt  beter  so  i went  back  into  the  wuter                                                                                                                                                            

The Helping Cloud

the clowd floted throo the city. the clowd put out the hot orange fia. the fiamin didint ned to do it.  because the clowd did it. thak you seid the fiamin you saved us yore walkim seid the clowd yore verry hulpfole you shod sdae here with all the people. 



The cloud floated through the city. The cloud put out the hot orange fire. The fireman didn't need to do it because the cloud did it. Thank-you said the fireman you saved us. You're welcome said the cloud, you're very helpful you should stay here with all the people.

my birthday is in a another 4 weeks But I don`t know which cake I will have.

Bell is my dads horse. Bell kicked a wall one day and hurt her leg. Dad called the vet. Luckily Bell was ok . My pony Hokey is best friends with Bell. Bell is just a foul.

 friend is going to tech me and my sisters.
