We are based at Ladbrooks School.

Our school is a full primary in a rural area just outside Christchurch.

We are an enthusiastic learning community of Year 3-5 children and two teachers, Ali and Jo.

Space

Today I found out that we live in the Milky Way. I really enjoyed finding out about planets. Annika and I will be investigating Jupiter. BY LIZZIE

Quilt challenge two

We explored different methods of calculating how many squares are on this quilt. We discovered that multiplying 40 x 43 doesn't work and further exploration was needed.

Finally we discovered that multiplying using tens makes life easy!
