Eiffel Tower
Like
a solider standing tall guarding Paris, the Eiffel tower defends the
people. In sunlight the metal gold giant
sways to the song of the breeze.
Parisians glaring up at it . Silently the monolith shines in golden
light. How long will I stay? It
asks. It’s the guardian of Paris. You can see it from Genoble.
Evie
and Sam A
Like
a giant solider seeking safety. The
Eiffle tower feels protected. Under the
horizon the steel lady sways through the beams of light. Metal glow’s like a thousand shooting stars
reading up to space. Iron shatters in
the morning light. How long will I stand
here? It wonders. It’s Paris’ beast, you
can see it from Burgandy.
Molly
Like
a centurion watching over Paris it guards the city. In the twilight sky it looks like a giant
made of century old iron.. Where is
Gustave, my maker? It wonders. It’s the
beast of Paris, you can see it from Burdandy.
Lizzie
Like
a Greek solider swaying in the horizon, the Eiffle tower is getting tired. In the moonlight, the iron gets weaker, the
steal planks are weaving like snakes trying to get back to their eggs. Who are those strangers? She wonders. It’s a beast spying on Paris.
Fergus
Like
a solider on guard, the Eiffle Tower is watching all the people in Paris. In the sunlight the steel starts to burn and
it looks like it is melting down the tower.
The beams are like a slippery snake, they are all yellow and gold. Gurders fight like stipey snakes competing
for space. How long have I been standing
here it asks. Its an iron giant looking
over Paris. You can see it from
Provonce.
Annika
Like
a solider facing the sunset the Eiffle tower relaxes and sighs. The steel shatters into dark shadows. The beautiful black beast says I’m the iron
lady. It’s Paris’s knight, you can see
it from Nise.
Julia
River Seinne
These
pieces of writing describe the River Seinne in Paris. The idea was to “over alliterate”, use
personification and metaphor
The Seinne is scattered
with shells from the shore. It slithers
silently to
San-Sur-Marne for
special seaweed water. Shameful sandy
creeks shatter painfully onto it’s scaly slimy back. Sharp seagulls beaks squeak softly on the
shore.
Molly, Julia and
Logan
The River Seinne is safe
and sound. Shifting along the slippery city it goes. It shatters on the shore.
It’s a big Snake curling around the Eiffel Tower.
Aniika and Lizzie
The seinne is a basilisk.
Slithering through the shining salty water. Lonely. secretly the seagulls scream and shout like insane lunatics.
The serpent weaves it's way to the sabazan.

The serpent weaves it's way to the sabazan.
Fergus and Sam
The seinne is a
basilisk! It slithers through shelly
corridors. The seagulls shriek at it’s
sight, flapping their wings and soaring away.
In moonlight it winds up the Eiffel Tower. It’s a snake wrapped around a pole in
Paris. The snake acts like a
doormat. It rings a bell at a door and
it runs around town scaring it’s prey.
Evie and Katie
The
river shimmers in the sunlight.
Like
a sharp shell corridor slipping into the upper world and slithering up the
Eiffel Tower.
