Introduction

We are based at Ladbrooks School.
Our school is a full primary in a rural area just outside Christchurch.
We are an enthusiastic learning community of Year 3-5 children and two teachers, Ali and Jo.

Lions

Lions have manes because they scare other animals away from their dinner. Their manes are spiky and make them look enormous. Their roar is very loud and scares the other animals away. Their claws are very very sharp and they use them to shred a tree so it falls on the other animals. They eat their dinner under a tree to hide from other animals. They pounce on other animals to kill them and then eat them.
