For the Semi-colon-ninjas for writing we pretended to be a farm animal and wrote to another farm animal and replied back.  In reading I was the sea in the quick play How Maui found his mother.  I also did the sound effects.  I water coloured five or six mono prints today and they are looking awesome.  They will look great on the wall.  With Charlie, Molly, Katie, Harry, Annika and Julia we have started a bakery called Messy Makers.  We specialise in hot chocolates and brownie.  We haven't had many customers yet.  I had a great day.

We agree with your letter about your own side of the story. We feel a little bit sorry, actually no, we feel a lot sorry for you, being stuck in the labyrinth and for being framed as the horrible beast of the labyrinth.  We understand that there is a much more horrible beast in the labyrinth than you.

Firstly we agree, clearly king Minos is not a good boy because he kidnapped Icarus and Daedalus and he put you in the labyrinth.

I think that all children should go to school.  It’s very important because being educated is essential, you make good friends, and you’ll have more chance of getting a good job when you leave school.

To begin with when you go to school, you make lots of cool friends and you’ll never be lonely.  When you have no friends, you feel blue and you have no one to play with.  School helps you meet new people and form strong friendships that can last nearly forever.

Secondly, you will learn lots because you would be on task.  Education helps you to understand the world, like history, science and other interesting things.  You sure feel smart when you know lots.  Who doesn’t want to be smart?  I do!

Lastly, you have more change of getting a good job when you leave school because you would have learnt lots.  People can use this knowledge to become whatever they want.  When you get a good job you earn good money and then you are able to buy lots of things so you can live a healthy and happy life. 

Last but not least, I believe all children should go to school to be successful.  So come on everyone, it’s important.  They can make friends, get a good and learn lots.

Today I’m going to tell you why rabbits are the best  pet ever.  They are cute and cuddly, they are very fast runners, they are so playful and they are incredibly cheap to look after.  Just ask me, I know these things because I won a competition about rabbits.

They are so cute, cuddly and fluffy that I take mine inside and cuddle them for about 1 hour.  Their fur is beautiful, soft, silky and smooth.  I just want to squeeze them.

They can do lots of things because of their strength and muscles.  They play with each other and my ones ride on their brothers back, it’s very funny.  I bring them inside and they run around, they are so cute.  Sometimes I put them on a lead and run with them.  Mine lick my face and I just  love it.

Rabbits cost hardly anything to keep.  They eat very little and usually it’s vegetable scraps that you already have.  They require few vet visits and you can make their hutch yourself.  How cool is that?

So why don’t you think about getting a rabbit.  They make a great friend, are playful, and are so cute and cuddly and hey everyone, they are super cheap to keep.  I think everyone should get a rabbit they are definitely the best pet.

I'm going to tell you why soccer is simply the best sport and why everyone should play it Now.  You can make friends, keeps you fit and learn super tricky moves. So why not start today?

It's best to play soccer because it keeps you very fit with lots  sprinting and running so why not begin next winter?  Games last for 10 minutes each and you play 4 each Saturday.  That's a lot of running.  On Fridays we have extra practice which is why you get so fit playing soccer.

Soccer is also great because you learn tricky moves like side by side passing you also learn six different ways to move the ball.  Can you believe that.  The leases, the inside boot, outside boot, back, toe and even the laces!  How cool is that.  That's the advantage of having a coach, you learn so much.

There are many people in your team that you can become friends with.  It's great because these are usually kids outside of school so you increase your friendship circle.  What's more you already have soccer in common.

To conclude I think everyone should play soccer because you get fit, make great friends and and you learn tricky moves, go on everyone, try it today.

I think  that rugby is the best sport.


 I play for waihora rugby club, it's the best club around here and that's why I love rugby.  It's such a great sport, you can make good friends, you get super fit, sometimes you even get trophies!  How cool is that?

Waihora club is great because all my friends play in my team, these are new people different from my school mates.  This means that I'm getting a wider friendship base, which is great. Its fun because you can smash people, get really muddy. Who doesn't love getting muddy.  I love giving speeches at the end of the games well.

Secondly,  you get fit because you are sprinting around for a hour and we play every Saturday.  We practise once a week for an hour, this is why rugby gets you fit. The field is 100 meters long, which is a long way to run.  If you this twice a week for a couple of hours then you're going to be super fit.

I love getting trophies.  I've got five this year.  You get them good tackling, running and being player of the day.  Man it feels awesome to get a trophy.  When you play rugby you get trophies.

So come on people please  everyone should play rugby, you'll get fit, make friends and ...wait for it, get a trophy.  Trust me you'll love it.

I think that Goldilocks is a criminal because she stole, she broke into the Bears house and she vandalised property.

Firstly I contend your honour, she broke baby bears favourite chair! Yes baby bear was very sad about that and how would you feel if that happened to you? It's inconceivable!

Secondly your honour, father bear could have had a heart attack. Goldilocks is a nuisance and she was very naughty and that is what made the Bears worried. She is a scallywag miscreant who has no respect for innocent woodland creatures homes.

Thirdly your graciousness she broke into their house and that is trespassing I tell you! It is illegal. Breaking and entering is unacceptable I will not stand for it.

Lastly and possibly the most heinous of all crimes she slept in baby bears bed with out asking. Lawbreaker, villain, felon,wrongdoer - something must be done!

To conclude I believe that goldilocks is a criminal. We should not have to put up with this delinquent behaviour.

I think everyone should get a pony because I believe they are the best animal.  They are such fun to ride, they are a friend for life, you get super fit riding a horse.

Firstly they love it when you spend time with them,  riding confidently and grooming them. If you ride a horse I promise it will be fun and you will be able to ride other people's horses too. When you ride the horse for a long time you can take the saddle off and ride bear back to warm up your bottom.  Its great fun riding bare back.

Secondly they are cute and cuddly teddy bears. They make really good friends for life. You will never get lonely if you're with them and sometimes they can be cheeky by nibbling your arm with their lips, scrape their head on you and lift their top lip up. My horse is my best friend.

Last of all you can get fit and so can the horse. Did you know that?  You really can. One way to get fit is by rising to the trot, when they canter and gallop. Did you know riding for an hour burns off 650 calories? When they are sweating that means they have been getting fit and that’s the same for humans too!

In conclusion I love horses and I believe that everyone should own a horse.  They will be your best friend, they will help you get super fit and they are fun to ride.

I think that everyone should have any type of cat as a pet because there cuddly and cute, always there for you and they don't take much caring for.

First of all they are so cuddly and cute. Their fluffy fur is so soft and relaxing to stroke. What could be better than coming back home after a long day and having a cat to pat? If the answer is nothing then get a cat.

Secondly they are always there for you. When you harm yourself they will make you feel so much better. They will lick where your sore and rub themselves against you. Every night they like to sleep right beside your head which will make anyone feel happy, wouldn't you agree?

Cats are helpful because they basically take care of themselves. First one of their various abilities is pest control. They love hunting down birds and mice or on the odd occasion a lizard to eat. There rough tongue cleans their whole body so there is no need to bath them. Are you going on a holiday? Your cat should be fine to look after themselves, how great is that!

So if you don't own a cat I think you better go and get one straight away! You won't regret it.😺

I think zebras are the best animals. Firstly they simply look amazing with all their stripes, they can run fast, hey they’re even from Africa. How cool is that?

Their stripes are black and white with coats and coats of fur under it. That looks so cool. No other animals have that distinct pattern. They’re unique.

Secondly, They run fast because they have long skinny legs and funny looking hooves that are brown. They look cool and funny when they are sprinting. I think they are amazing, don’t you?

Lastly, their endemic to Africa and that’s cool isn’t it? They live in the grasslands and woodlands in Africa. They have lived here for about four million years.

That’s why I believe Zebra’s are the best animal in the world.

Hi everyone, I’m going to tell you why netball is the best sport ever.  You learn amazing skills, get super fit and play with friends.  Come on everyone, play netball!

Firstly you learn skills such as ball skills.These skills are help in other sports.What you can learn is how to throw and catch confidently and accurately also you can learn how to shoot the ball in the goal.This can also help with other sports.

Secondly you get super fit.At the start of the game you do warm up which takes about three minutes.In your warm up you do grapevines,side step,stretch and lunges.When warm up is over it's time for the game.In the game you have to dodge and run around a lot.You dodge to get in front of people and run to get the ball. You train on one day and play on onther. It's an amazing,fun way to get fit.

You play with friends too! Sometimes you play against someone you know when this happens and you get a goal they will celebrate you who doesn't like to be celebrated?Net ball is a team sport that means you have to work as a team.This also brings you and your friends closer and working as a team is just a helpful skill to have in life.

In conclusion I think everyone should play netball because you get fit ,play with friends and learn skills also by playing netball can just help with skills in life and if you work hard through all of your games then who knows you might become a silver fern one day! Go on, give it a go everyone

I think that everybody should have a pet cat.

Famous writer Charles dickens said "what greater gift is there than the love of a cat" I totally agree. Cats are awesome.  They are cute and cuddly, so playful, and they cheer you up when you're feeling sad or lonely.  Come on people who doesn't love cats?

I like cats because they're whiskers are long and they're extremely fluffy like a pillow.  Cats are affectionate and want to snuggle with you at night.  This makes you feel safe and it's cute too.  They are like fury hot water bottles.

Cats are playful too.  If you buy a toy fish and you throw it, the cat will play with it. And when you are sad they bump you.  They just cheer you up.

Cats can catch mice and rats but they are very hard to catch.  That’s great, getting rid of all the vermin around the house.

I just love cats because they're fluffy, and cute and soft and just so adorable.

They are amazing animals,you can breed from them to get more horses,they will become your best friend,are helpful and are super clever.

Firstly a mare is a female horse and she can help to keep you company and can be a great friend for life. You can spend hours together and you get to know each other. It's an amazing relationship.

They can even help pull carts, wagons and other things. Many mares were used during the war and they saved many lives.

Secondly mares are very intelligent animals because they can pull carts with out troubling you.

Thirdly you can train them to understand the reigns then you can spend hours riding around. They are intuitive and can be easily trained to do almost anything.

Finally if they're a thoroughbred  mare, they can give birth to amazing foals that you can race at the races. You can win the races and can win a lot of money. Who wouldn't want to win a race? I certainly would.

In conclusion, I think everybody must get a mare because you can breed from them, they are helpful, very intelligent and a friend for life. Try out a mare, I know you'll love her.

I believe that everyone should have a dog.  It’s simple people.  They save lives, help people, they play with you and they are just so cute.  Who wouldn’t want one?

First of all, they play with you.  Which is so cool.  When you throw something and it goes high, they jump and try and get it.  They run fast with you and sometimes they bring the ball back.  Some dogs even do tricks, for example, they shake hands, they play dead and some even flip.  How cool is that?

Dogs same lives like if someone was drowning, they could go in and save them.  If someone had fallen down a cliff, they could go down and help them or go for help.  If you were blind, they guide you to where you want to go, they are called guide dogs.  You can also get dogs for the deaf.  Amazing!

They are cute and cuddly, they are so cool, they’ve got puppy dog eyes.  I just want to stay with them forever.

Dogs are incredible, I like them because they are heroes, they are cute and cuddly and they are so playful.  Get a dog people.  It will transform your life.

I think everyone should play rugby because it is the best sport.  You get fit, make friends and learn new skills. 

Firstly, we play every Saturday and one game goes for 30 minutes.  We run all around the field, who doesn’t want to run all around?  We have practice every Wednesday for an hour.  We practice tackling other stuff which helps us get fit.  It’s awesome.

Secondly, you can also make fantastic friends.  In your team there are people not from Ladbrooks which means you get more friends outside of school.  It is also an enjoyable sport and it required team work.  Team work is so good for you .  It makes you a better friend.

You can learn new skills and you can also have a coach that will teach you all the skill you need to win a game.  You can play against different teams.  If you see another player from the other team do a skill you can learn it too.  At practice, you learn ball skills, passing and kicking with the ball.

In conclusion I especially think that everyone should be confident rugby players.  Try it, I guarantee you’ll love it.  You will make friends, get fit and learn new skills.
