Introduction

We are based at Ladbrooks School.
Our school is a full primary in a rural area just outside Christchurch.
We are an enthusiastic learning community of Year 3-5 children and two teachers, Ali and Jo.

Teddyland

In Teddyland, we learn about fractions. During this lesson, 5 teddies lived in each of the four districts. We worked out what fraction of the population lived near water, what fraction lived in the mountains, in the swamps and rivers. We worked out if half of them were named Smith and half were named Edward how many bears that would be.
We like Teddyland and will do some more learning with the teddies in the future.
