Briar's Persuasive Speech

think zoos are fantastic because they are fun to explore, they look after the animals and they help the survival of many species.

Firstly zoos are amazing places to explore.  You can discover new animals, like pandas and learn all about them.  So listen up my friends, zoos are the best!

Secondly, zoos keep animals well fed so they can thrive longer and live happy lives.  Most importantly some animals need vet care and zoos provide this for them on the spot.  This ensures they are kept well.

Interestingly enough, zoos ensure the survival of many different species, with capture and release, breeding programmes and swapping animals around different zoos.  Many animals would be extinct today if it wasn’t for zoos, for example tigers and red pandas.

So everyone, zoos are fantastic and you should go to one this weekend.  They keep animals healthy, they ensure survival and they are fun to explore.
